Electrical baro transmitters are measuring the air pressure internally via electro-mechanical components. These sensors are not very sensitive to mechanical effects due to their small size. An integrated electronics converts the measured information into electrical signals, and delivers them. The sensors measure the air pressure always at the station level. They, partly, have the internal possibility of calculating the reduced air pressure using the barometric altitude formula. For this purpose, the sensor must be informed about the station level.
Baro Transmitter 3.1157.10.000 THIES Clima measures the absolute air pressure of the atmosphere at a site. It is designed for use in environmental protection, where high accuracy, quick response, long-term stability, and reliability are necessary.
This device can be used both indoors and outdoors. It utilizes a durable tempered piezo-ceramic sensor for measuring absolute pressure, which is known for its thermal and mechanical stability. Electric connection is made through an 8-pole terminal strip and a specially designed cable gland that provides air pressure smoothing.
