Technical specifications of the BNWAS warning system in UAE
The Walker P7007 John Lilley and Gillie Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) combines the latest BNWAS technology with the ease and functionality of a new integrated touchscreen display unit.
The complete system can be completed with the Walker P7008 Remote Rest repeater unit. The unit is remotely resettable and easy to carry due to its small size. This part accompanies the main unit BNWAS P7007 to provide more versatility and additional protections for the whole system.
The P7008 unit duplicates the basic reset function of the original BNWAS unit and features touch sensitive buttons, a compact digital display and individual dimmer buttons on each individual unit. The main feature of this device is the presence of a built-in motion sensor, which offers the flexibility to act as a remote sensing unit as well as reset.
Due to its small size and easy portability, the BNWAS device fully complies with the standards and regulations of the IMO Maritime Safety Committee. Therefore, its use is mandatory for all marine vessels over 150 gross tons. It also comes with the assurance of exceptional design, build quality and reliability from a company with over 200 years of marine equipment engineering experience.
