A special feature of the knuckle boom's design is the mechanical transmission of the knuckle. It facilitates a minimum working radius of fewer than 10 meters and allows the RL-K 4200 to extend the boom almost completely to 180 degrees.
- Compact design
A key design element of the RL-K 2600 is that the crane has no machinery house. Instead, the components are merged into a rotating column. Intelligent design ensures access to maintenance work at any time.
Due to this space-saving design, the RL-K 2600 has a tail rotation radius of fewer than 3 meters. Therefore, the crane is suitable for working on platforms and ships, where there is limited space on the deck.
