Kongsberg Ship crane
Remote and safe operation. Cranes working on load rails make it possible to efficiently load and move the cargo on the deck.
Cranes on carts that are the length of the PSV cargo rails make it possible to lift cargo onboard without using mobile coastal cranes. The cargo can then be placed anywhere on the deck with minimal risk to the deck crew. The cranes can be placed on one or both sides of the vessel, and they can also lift cargo from the side if the PSV is anchored from the back to the dock.
Cargo on deck can be sorted during transport to recipients and increase the efficiency of the unloading process as well as the safety of the crew, as they are less exposed to hanging loads.
The dual-link drag design provides a very large work area for high performance when loading or unloading cargo. Rail cranes have additional internal tools to further increase safety. It has a rotating load cap to eliminate any oscillating movements and has a telescopic lifting wire stabilizer that reduces the pendulum effect of free-hanging wires.
