Hatch cover crane HCC
YMV hatch cover crane is a portable crane used for longitudinal displacement of the hatch cover on the ship. The hatch cover crane runs on rails located on the hatch coaming on both sides of the ship. The crane consists of two vertical uprights and a yoke.
YMV has developed this crane to raise, lower and collect hatch covers of cargo vessels. The capacity of this crane varies between 3 to 40 t and its span range is between 8 to 20 mt. The working height is between 1.5 to 5 meters. This model of crane is driven hydraulically and electrically, and the load control is done through a lever located on one of the feet of the crane.
Hatch Cover Cranes are available in 4 and 8 wheels in the market and are available upon customer request. The 8-wheel type has shown successful performance while over listing.
